    @digitalps My point'n'shoot DSLR backup has been a G10 and is about to be a G11. Unbeatable, despite the small chip disadvantages.

    @digitalps My choice is a Canon G9/10/11. I know they cost almost as much as a dslr but I'm guilty of leaving my 5d at home a lot!

    @digitalps An E-420 or E-450 with the 25mm pancake lens is just as small as a P&S but way faster.
