@digitalps Something made by Canon...they do pocketable P&S better than anyone.
@digitalps Either a decent superzoom if I'm not inclined to the heavy lenses (like the FZ series by Panny) or the LX-3.

@digitalps G10 or LX3
@digitalps point and shoot digicam - a Leica M9. Or in the 'realistic' bracket, a Canon G10/G11
@digitalps I'd get a fuji FinePix S200EXR - I've got the S6500fd and it's great but wearing out after 2 years of constant use.
@digitalps My point'n'shoot DSLR backup has been a G10 and is about to be a G11. Unbeatable, despite the small chip disadvantages.
@digitalps Either Canon G11 or if really small Olympus Stylus Tough (waterproof)
@digitalps Would love to have the Canon s90 (http://digital-photography-school.com/ca... I'm curios what other think.
@digitalps Either a Panasonic TZ7 or LX3

@digitalps the P&S question is not up on the site.
@digitalps none.. rolling shutter is a big problem
@digitalps My choice is a Canon G9/10/11. I know they cost almost as much as a dslr but I'm guilty of leaving my 5d at home a lot!
@digitalps @ScottBourne Canon G10 I just sold one to go dslr
@digitalps Canon G11
@digitalps Olympus tough series... So I have no fear of breaking

@digitalps waiting to see the canon s90 vs the Lumix LX3 (re p&s as a secondary cam)
@digitalps I think you missed mine, Panasonic LX3
@digitalps An E-420 or E-450 with the 25mm pancake lens is just as small as a P&S but way faster.
