@problogger I would say the #1 "unsexy" truth is that it takes W-O-R-K despite what almost every sales page will lead you to believe!
@problogger um, that a lot of this making money via blogs is 'all talk no action'. Now, that's pretty unsexy...
@problogger unsexy truth? What works for one blog, won't work for another.
@problogger Some people expect all information to be free, and get mad if you sell non-tangible products like ebooks and exclusive content.
@problogger Well there's the whole "work" thing that no one bothers to mention.
@problogger Also unsexy: some days I'm too busy to even think about showering. MMO is more work than people realize, esp when starting out.
@problogger only the get rich slowly by putting in a lot of effort schemes work
@problogger There is no such things as truly passive income!
@problogger I've discovered it takes longer to get momentum... much longer lead times... but higher margins.
@problogger pitching to management not a case of build it and they will come money and resources required to convince people
@problogger It still takes a lot of really hard work...and pajamas don't go over well on skype calls you want people to pay for. lol
@problogger it requires lots of work to make money online -
@problogger most of the people talking about making money online are not making money online.
@problogger Reality is a perspective based on one's experience...what is the sexy truth about making money online?
@problogger You've probably already got this but: It's really hard work. Most people put in a LOT of time they're never compensated for.
@problogger it takes almost 6-8 months before you see any respectable money
@problogger it requires alot of hard work as well :). My two cents
@problogger Advertising doesn't pay the bills unless you've got HUGE traffic. (Even then it's not much.)
@problogger The "unsexy" truth? Some people just aren't going to make it. They'll put in a lot of time and spend more than they earn.
@problogger 1) It's hard. 2) It's harder if you're not willing to be pushy (or spammy).
@problogger sounds interesting! What's the link?
@problogger unsexy truth: how much work it is! It is not just writing content, but learning SEO techniques, social media, programming, etc
@problogger staying up til 3am to perfect a post, then walking around in the daytime with bags under your eyes=UNSEXY!!
@problogger One (unsexy) truth is not only one needs to put a lot of time and effort, luck also plays an important part!
@problogger Perseverance is the key to success in any business. If you invest in decent web design and writing you'll get better results.
@problogger To MMO, you don't get a Return On Investment - you get a Return On "Engagement". No engagement ... No return!
