@problogger Read other blogs to see what I've missed. A lot of times I get ideas for posts from reading other posts.
@problogger I sit down and write about the holiday what I did and what I could have done differently and how it relates to my blog.
@problogger look at the photos
@problogger I read your book
@problogger I often procrastinate after time off, so just have to jump right in with a blog post.
@problogger Start by brainstorming awesome and eye-catching post titles, the write the one that clicks for you.
@problogger I'd take note of all the quirky things my family does and use it for readers' amusement
@problogger think about something in your holiday that relates to your blog topic and hopefully it'll flow
@problogger ANSWER: I once wrote on the topic as well - http://jimraffel.com/2007/11/13/66-how-a...
@problogger I've found looking through my older posts helps. Something from last year that could be better said today.
@problogger A large cup of coffee!
@problogger that was nice; mood however is a tricky thing
@problogger picking something you are excited to write helps! Otherwise, blocking out distraction, hit a 'blackspot' with no net access
@problogger "how do you get yourself in 'blogging mode' after a holiday?" Look at your bills. Thats good motivation.
@problogger I like to stimulate reactive thought by reading news/blogs, watching vlogs & listening to podcasts.
@problogger I make my 1st post about an observation I made while I was out of town. Lets me remember the fun, and get me to start working!
@problogger Or after a huge break like, oh, say, moving? Exactly the question I'm asking myself right now!
@problogger I think the holidays themselves (ie: interactions w/ fam, shoppers, etc) would provide lots of blogging material/inspiration.
@problogger ease myself back in gently, often sketching out posts, making sure you have "cover" guestposts etc, in case i struggle.
@problogger see I knew you could do it!
@problogger To Do lists help me as I am very goal orientated.
@problogger I review my blog ideas list, comments (what few I have), and use google analytics to give myself a pep talk *laughs*
@problogger Well, my blog is on my weight loss so I'll have plenty to say after the holiday (how I did, what happened, on the scale, etc).
@problogger I am always writing...my biggest problem is deciding which to post and which to pitch...most publisher don't like 2nd rights.
@problogger Remember that if you don't blog you have to go back to an office and a regular job. No thanks!
@problogger I think I need a holiday from my holiday... good post topic and I look forward to reading it.
@problogger I get in working/blogging mode sitting in my desk, listening to good music & thinking for a couple of minutes about my goals
@problogger That is like going back to work after vacation, the best way is to go with a positve attitude, and thankfulness.
@problogger Q: how do you get back in 'blogging mode' post hol? A: Read all the comments you got while away, your readers will fire you up!
@problogger Finish posts on drafts mode, write a list post, look at my friends' blogs to see how much I've missed gets me in blogging mode.
@problogger Ease into it...splurge on a nice big fancy coffee, sit down and start reading other blogs. I can't read w/o wanting to write.
@problogger To get in mode, I do a quick frivolous hit, like SBUX new in-store design and have fun w/ it. No hevy lifting, The chops return.
@problogger I start replying to help emails. Those answers become posts.
