Twitoaster API: authentication If you need to authenticate your requests, you will have to provide an API Key using the api_key parameter. For the time being, only the user/update and user/verify_api_key methods require authentication.

Note that authenticated calls are counting against a different rate limit (see the Twitoaster API rate limiting policy).

Get your Twitoaster API Key Your Twitoaster API Key is a kind of password that you can give to third-party applications and websites you trust, to let them interact with Twitoaster on your behalf (for example, the Twitoaster WordPress plugin).

To get your Twitoaster API Key, you need to log in with twitter.
